UpTracker provides you with 5 different update methods which are the Increment, Decrement, Read-Only, Set Quantity and Shift and you can change the Quantity to update.

This is how you use each update methods:

1. Increment

Increases the quantity of the product that you scan or input into the search field. You can set the quantity which you want to increase. For example, instead of scanning the same product 4 times, you can set the quantity to 4 and scan it one time.

2. Decrement

Decreasing the quantity of the product that you scan or input into the search field. You can set the quantity which you want to decrease. For example, instead of scanning the same product 4 times, you can set the quantity to 4 and scan it one time. (same as increment)

3. Read Only

By scanning or input the barcode. Quick Scan will display the product quantity in the Session below. Read-Only will not modify the stock level of your product.

4. Set Quantity

This will update the stock level of your products based on the quantity that you input. For example, product A stock level is 50 and you Set Quantity to 5. The new stock level is 5.

5. Shift

This will transfer the stock level of your products from one location to another. If the product is not found in the location, Quick Scan will create the product in that new location. You can also transfer to a fulfillment location. However, it will move all the stock to fulfillment location.

NOTE: The quantity will reset 1 after each transaction

NOTE: Quick Scan will set the default Update Method based on the latest transaction
